House call dog grooming

Similarly to a mobile groomer, I come to you - however I do not have a van or trailer, instead I tend to your pet inside the home (outside is an option, weather permitting.) I arrive with a portable table and dryer plus all the equipment/supplies required for a full service, one on one groom in the comfort and familiarity of home. Let me bring the spa to you!

House call grooming is a good option for:

• senior or special needs pets
• dogs that don’t particularly like car rides
• those with anxiety (in both the pet and parents 😉)
• Families with busy schedules (latch key appointments can be made available once familiarity & trust is established between groomer, dog and pet parent)
• Dogs that don’t do well in a busy salon environment
• introducing puppies to the process in a positive way

• Proof of an up to date rabies vaccination 
• A kitchen or farm sink or tub/shower for bathing and a towel
• A well lit area for my table with access to an outlet (kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, garage, basement, enclosed porch or patio are commonly used areas. Outside grooms are an option when weather is permitting.)
• A broom for easier clean up.
• I may request a photo of the grooming area, tub space and dog, to aid in estimating a price for you as well as catering a set up that best suits your space and pet.

An average visit should take approx. 2 hours depending on your dogs hair type, desired cut and behavioral needs. 

Please allow an additional 30 minutes for the initial appointment for a meet and greet.

Absolutely! My goal is to make this a regular part of your pets routine care and I encourage everyone to go about life as usual when I'm there. The only exception is if it creates an unsafe distraction, in which case I'd request you stay out of sight. Every dog is different and I'm happy to work with each other to insure everyones comfort.
